Russia and the Asia-Pacific (HeiUP)
Russia and the Asia-Pacific is the book series of the research area “Russia’s North Pacific”, which is run by the Max Weber Network Eastern Europe in cooperation with the Chair of Russia-Asia Studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. The series is dedicated to examining the processes of entanglement and disentanglement between actors in the Russian Pacific region and other countries bordering the North Pacific from historical and contemporary perspectives.
The research area and series have a historical focus, but are interdisciplinary in nature. In addition to selected results from relevant workshops and conferences, the series is open to monographs by German and international scholars, not least outstanding theses. Publications are possible in English and German. A scientific advisory board accompanies the work of the series and ensures that high quality standards are maintained.
